Day 1, done

Hot off a red-eye we grabbed coffee. Hopped in a cab. Dropped our bags at the hotel. Shopped at Tiffany's. Ate delicious Thai food at Pure Thai. Walked the High Line. Had Blue Bottle New Orleans iced coffee in the sun. Strolled through the West Village. Ate Magnolia cupcakes in a park. Took the subway back to our hotel so we could shower and put our feet up for a spell before heading out to dinner.
Phew!
Day 1 has been a complete success!
