the right of way
In NZ pedestrians do NOT have the right of way. People stop and wait for cars. Cars do not wait for people. It seems like they would definitely run you down. And they drive on the other side of the street. It's a little confusing for me, so I always wait for the green little man to tell me when to go.
Also, they have TV's on the bus and it's usually on MTV and there are no commercials.
